Because many items sold by Asma Healing Art are original artworks, limited products or produced specifically for an order, we do not offer an additional voluntary returns or exchange policy beyond customers’ statutory rights.

1. Your Statutory Rights

Nothing in this policy affects your rights under UK consumer law.

If you are a UK consumer purchasing eligible goods online, you will normally have a legal right to cancel your order within 14 days after receiving the goods, without giving a reason.

After notifying us of a valid cancellation, you normally have a further 14 days to return the goods.

2. Custom, Personalised and Bespoke Goods

The statutory change-of-mind cancellation right may not apply to goods that are genuinely made to your specifications or clearly personalised.

This may include specially commissioned artwork or products individually personalised at the customer’s request.

A product is not treated as personalised or bespoke merely because it was produced after an order was placed.

3. Original Artwork

Unless a legal exception applies, the purchase of an existing original artwork online may still carry statutory distance-selling cancellation rights.

We do not provide any additional change-of-mind period beyond the period required by law.

4. Return Condition

If exercising a statutory right to cancel, you are responsible for taking reasonable care of the artwork or product while it is in your possession.

Items should be packaged securely for return.

Where permitted by law, we may make an appropriate deduction from a refund if the value of an item has been reduced because it has been handled beyond what would reasonably be necessary to inspect it.

5. Return Shipping for Change-of-Mind Cancellations

Unless the goods are faulty, damaged, incorrectly supplied or we have agreed otherwise, the customer is responsible for the cost of returning goods following a change-of-mind cancellation.

Because artworks may be valuable or fragile, we strongly recommend using an appropriately tracked and insured return service. The customer remains responsible for the item until it is received by us, to the extent permitted by law.

6. Faulty, Damaged or Incorrect Goods

If an item is faulty, arrives damaged or is materially different from what was ordered, please contact us as soon as reasonably possible.

We may ask for photographs of the item and packaging to help us investigate the issue.

Your statutory rights in relation to faulty, damaged or incorrectly supplied goods are not affected by this policy.

7. Refunds

Where a refund is legally due, it will be processed in accordance with applicable consumer law and normally returned using the original payment method.

For a valid statutory cancellation, any refund of outbound delivery charges will be limited to the cost of the least expensive standard delivery method offered, where applicable.

8. How to Cancel

To exercise a legal right to cancel, contact Asma Healing Art through the Contact page on this website and clearly state that you wish to cancel the order.

Please include your name, order number and sufficient information for us to identify the purchase.
